This course is alligned with the main objectives of the Caribbean Secondary Examination Council (CSEC) Syllabus. The Food, Nutrition and Health Syllabus is intended to provide opportunities for the development of skills in planning, preparation and presentation of food. This ia a basic requirement for health and well being. In addition, the course provides an understanding of the nature of food and the principles of nutrition .
