Greetings Cardinals!!

I trust that you are well and ready for an exciting new school term!

School reopens on Monday 24th April, 2023 for everyone.  This means that everyone is expected to report to our dear institution tomorrow.

Students:  Please ensure your DAY 1 schedule is organised for the term.  Lower school students (Forms 1 and 2), you should have received your Practicals for the year from 1st Term but you will certainly get to meet all of your new teachers at Periods 4 and 5 as we usually do each term - please check to see which 3 new subjects you are going to be exposed to this term - ensure that you have a new notebook for these.

Upper school students, please prepare for a term with very little time to waste. No absconding, please!  Report to all of your classes. The term is very short as you can well imagine the number of disruptions.

Students, please note that the following week (1st May) is a holiday.  This will be a very short week as the CPEA will be held on 4th and 5th May 2023.  This means that there will be VIRTUAL SCHOOLING - ONLINE SCHOOL.  Please ensure that you make all the necessary arrangements to engage with your subject teachers on those days.  Take full advantage of all contact time.

Our Form 5 students are already in the height of their final exams - CXC Exams.  Some are busy trying to finish off their SBAs for certain areas.  Please keep them in your prayers.  All Forms 4 and 3 students whose parents did not collect their CXC timetables should do so during this coming week.

Please note that all students MUST wear full school uniform at all times when attending school or school-related activities.

Parents: A lot of time was spent making sure that reports were ready before school started - so all parents should have collected reports and planned for a better school term by ensuring that collaboratively, students will perform even better.  Reminder to send in written excuses if students are late or absent to the school's Principal.  Students without excuses are placed on detention.

Some very important activities take place in the third (3rd) term:
-  Subject selection (for Form 2 students) - parents will be briefed
-  Caribbean Girls in ICT Day on 27th April 2023 (and boys who assist them (link to register is in students' emails - IT teachers to assist)
-  Reading Month (May)
-  CPEA on 4th and 5th May, 2023 (these are online school days)
-  Public holidays (May Day, Pentecost/Whit Monday, Corpus Christi).
-  District Calypso Festival (consent forms available through teachers)
-  Junior Calypso competition (date to be announced)
-  CXC Exams
-  Selection of acting Prefects from Form 4
-  End of Term Exams
-  Graduation
-  Progress reports

There will be a few changes but this should not derail anyone.  Please keep focused and be the best positive version of yourselves.

Please make this term your BEST by giving it your BEST.

God bless You!
