Greetings Cardinals

I trust that this week was a better one than last week.

November has started and so has the month when we recognize several occasions or activities

1  Mathematics Month

2. Mental Health Month

3. Music Month

4. Veterans Day or Remembrance Day (11th November)

5. World Diabetes Day (14th November)

All of these activities or observances are recognized at some level at our school.

During this past week, we shared the theme for Math and Music Month and encouraged students and staff to engage in activities relating to these two subjects.

On Thursday, I emailed a link to some exciting Math puzzles and hopefully, next week, we can feature some brilliant musicians both at school and some who are past students too. Currently, our school's YouTube channel and our school's website proudly feature some present and past students displaying outstanding musical talent. Take some time to view and to like these videos.

Also coming up is our Virtual Spotlight. We will discuss this a little more next week.

I do hope that you took advantage of Thursday's Off-teachers' day to catch up on assignments and to get some time away from the screen. It is important. So after every Day 6, we will do this.

Remember:

- keep to your schedule - everyone has a timetable.

- log on daily for emails and Homeroom at 8:05 am

- General Assembly is always on Mondays at 8:20

- Communicate any concerns about anything to the people who CAN help you.

- Do not complain unless you have REALLY tried

- Do not give up!

- Term 1's Assessment is Continuous Assessment for EVERY form level - no final term tests - so that's why you MUST engage and ensure that all work is done and submitted.

Students, finally,

Please note that WE DO NOT RETURN TO ONSITE  SCHOOL ON MONDAY.  The Ministry of Education has closed all schools until 30th November, 2020. If this changes, you will be informed. So, until then, continue to keep very safe..

As we continue distance schooling, seek to give it your best...
