Good morning, Parents and students,

I hope that the day has been great for you and your family members.  As you continue to enjoy the day, please take note that tomorrow is Day 5 and not Day 6.  Please ensure that everyone plans, prepares, and packs for the right day.  Thank you, as always. 

Thank you to all of the parents and students who participated in our Teachers' Week of activities - some donated items, some were present at school to help as Teachers for parts or whole day, some sent gifts to teachers, and I am sure that all of you, in your own way - reached out.  Thank you. Thank you, parents of our Acting Prefects who allowed them, to Job Shadow for a day  on Thursday - this has always been an incentive for Prefects for over 2 decades.  The Acting Prefects enjoyed it.  Thank you.

Upcoming Activities this week:

Some students will be participating in the following activities:

1.  some Duker's, Red Cross and Interact members will be attending the Fr Reginald Series of talks at the Pastoral Centre from 10:30 am on Monday

2.  Some Business Students will be participating in the Productivity Awareness Exhibition which starts on Monday

3.  Some students will be attending the Christine Samuel Exhibition at the Babonneau multi-purpose Centre on Monday and Tuesday of this week.

4.  Some students will be submitting their Math Posters for the District Competition.

5. Some students will be participating in the District Secondary Schools’ Math Relay and next week the District Math Bingo.

6.  The Form 5 PE & Sport class will continue to raise funds for their upcoming CXC SBA activity which is next Friday 20th October, 2023.  Please take note that they want students to support by dressing up in Sportswear (cricket, football, netball, tennis, track, boxing, golf, horse racing, etc.). on Friday 13th October 2023 and contribute $5.00 for this activity.

Please note that we forgot to include the Jounen Kweyol activity in the last letter sent home with all the upcoming activities for the term.  Please make a note to put this on your calendar for this month - that is a BIG BIG activity we should not have missed because we told parents about it during Orientation /Registration week. It is on the last Friday of October.

Let's continue to make sure we keep assisting and supporting each other.
