Students,
The term has been very intense as we had so many packed weeks of a wide range of activities (in and out of class).
I am sure that some of you were able to reflect on this term's instructional engagements with pride as you were able to embrace all assessments that would provide feedback regarding what and how you have been able to assimilate during this term! The feedback will inform and dictate how you and your teachers move into the second term.
However, as we wind down, some more activities are scheduled to take place so please keep focused!
This week:
a) the Math, Science, and Music teachers will ensure that you are more sensitized in these three areas as we celebrate their various subjects. The Mathematics Department has organized Math Jeopardy for each form level - please be prepared to do well. This week is Science Week - please remember to bring your $1 towards the Science activity. There is the District Music Festival next week, so hopefully, we can perform at least one presentation.
b) there is also the observation of Remembrance Day on 11th November. All students will be well informed of why we wear the Red and black poppy! Please bring at least $1 to support the Poppy Appeal.
c) We also have a short House meeting to prepare for our Road Race which is next week - all students SHOULD have their consent forms already and these MUST return to your house Managers (House Masters, Mistresses, Captains) before the end of the week so that proper plans can be made. Cheerleading preparation continues and students are reminded to be responsible at all of the training sessions.
d) Forms 4 and 5 students - please remember that your Oral Examination is this week Thursday and Friday. Prepare well!!!
e) Sports continue with as Basketball, Table Tennis, Netball, and Football come to the last round this week. Who will advance to the next round - Semi-Finals? Let's see!!
f) Finally, all students should have access to the elocution piece - https://youtu.be/6X8YnCq6UME?si=L7Z-pjPjiY-wMeAi
By now, all homerooms should have started learning and preparing to compete next term. Please keep working hard to do so.
Have a Great Remembering November!
